“Innovation”  Many say it – few organizations have a system to make it happen!  A system includes  roles, training and tools that enable and empower your teams to work smarter, faster and more creatively, every day. Any type of organization can employ a successful system for innovation; the ones that do typically see increase in speed and success with their efforts to innovate.

But it's really bigger than that.   It’s a new mindset - where “fixedness” is replaced with optimism and a new way to address emerging challenges and opportunities.  This new mindset replaces stress and provides a sense of excitement and hope for the future of your organization.

What does it include?

Strategy – Senior leaders set a clear, concise strategy that guides the innovation efforts.  This is captured on a BLUE CARD.

Common language – All ideas are captured in a common manner – on a YELLOW CARD.  This greatly improves communication and helps speed the innovation process.

Defined roles -  Roles & responsibilities includes the PROCESS COACH, MANAGEMENT COACH, and PROJECT LEADER(s).

Structured training – There are different levels of training – that range from ½-day thru 3-day courses and coaching sessions to aid innovation team members, senior leaders, and others.

5-step process – These 5-steps transform raw ideas into refined solutions that can be implemented.  The 5-steps are Ideate, Define, Discover, Develop & Deliver.  It includes a systematic, defined way to advance or quickly (and cheaply) kill ideas.  We often call it Fail Fast Fail Cheap (FFFC) way to kill ideas.

Creativity tools – 20+ creativity aids have been developed to aid the ideation process

Create sessions -  These quick-paced ideation sessions take advantage of CREATIVTY TOOLS and TEAM DIVERSITY to quickly generate dozens of ideas that can be evaluated and prioritized for implementation.
