Leveraging Analytics to Drive Company Performance

$79 Members • $99 NonMembers

Please note the time change to 10am - 1pm with lunch provided.

We live in a world of big data and analytics-based decision making, however data impacts each business in different ways.  Identifying which data points drive your business will lead to improved business performance, while bad data driven decisions can hurt or stagnate business goals.   Analytics that drive business success must be strategic, executable, and sustainable.

In this course attendees will learn how to identify and evaluate the data points that drive their businesses.  Develop a process for aggregating that data and translating it into business objectives that the C-Suite can implement.

The workshop will conclude with a discussion of how human resources data can be mined in combination with other organizational databases using statistical methods for greater precision.

Predictive modeling will be introduced and a discussion of the challenges that arise with preparing an organization for the future application of machine learning techniques to its data.

In the end the participants will leave the workshop with immediately applicable analytical techniques. The participants will be aware of the trends toward predictive modeling and machine learning that will encompass organizations.

About our speaker:

Dr. Rothenberg originally joined NC State University in 2007 as a member of the Zeis Textile Extension Education for Economic Development (ZTE) center, where she provided analytical training and consulting to the textile, apparel, and affiliated industries. Lori rose to serve as the Director of ZTE, before joining the faculty. Under her leadership, ZTE grew its outreach through expanded custom analytics offerings, hosted national and international conferences, and a strong infrastructure.
