Please note this is an evening meeting!  Drinks will be served from 5pm – 5:30pm and dinner will begin at 5:30pm with the presentation to follow at 6pm.

The presentation is designed to improve workers' retirement security by educating employers and service providers about their fiduciary responsibilities under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

 

 

About our speaker:

Tiffany Griswell, Investigator

Atlanta Regional Office, United States Department of Labor

Employee Benefits Security Administration

 

Tiffany Griswell began her career with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) in 2010 as an Investigator with the Los Angeles Regional Office. She transferred to the Atlanta Regional Office in 2016. EBSA is responsible for the administration and enforcement of Title I of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) as well as related provisions of other Federal laws (e.g., Title 18 USC). Title I of ERISA establishes standards governing the operation of employer-sponsored employee benefit plans. Tiffany has conducted numerous civil investigations of 401(k) plans, ESOPs, welfare plans, defined contribution, and defined benefits plans.

 

Prior to working for the Department of Labor, Tiffany worked as a Portfolio Specialist and Assistant Vice President at SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Tiffany has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law.
