HR: Delivering Strategic Impact

Workshop Description:

Today’s agile business environment requires HR to be strategically aligned with its business peers, in order to meet the needs of its customers, shareholders, and employees.  This session will address how HR can leverage its expertise in organization and talent assessment, organization design, and implementation of core HR processes to deliver significant impact across an organization.

 

Outcomes:  

Participants in this session will learn through a “real” Case Study:

·         How to conduct HR and Organization Assessment

·         How to summarize Key Findings

·         Through break-out group discussion: Propose Recommendations + Prioritization of Recommendations based on Assessment findings

·         Review of outcomes 1 year post-assessment: Organization Design, Talent Upgrades, HR Processes

 

Facilitator Credentials

KC Consulting provides practical HR solutions for business. We work with C-level and corporate management to address Change, Turnaround, Growth, and HR Processes. Our specialties include Interim CHRO assignments, organization assessments, HR process implementation and Executive Coaching.

 

Kim brings over twenty-five years of global HR experience in Fortune 10 & private organizations, including eleven years with General Electric.  Her industry experience includes aerospace, food & beverage, consumer products, electrical distribution, plastics, financial services, chemicals, energy, and smart grid technology. 

 

Her most recent role, prior to launching her own HR Consulting & Coaching practice was as Chief People Officer of a privately held $925MM global technology company, spanning 16 countries and over 3700 employees. While there, she created a global HR organization to support US, Europe and China.  She implemented global HR processes, including performance management, talent management and a global career framework that included a global banding structure and country-specific salary ranges and incentive targets.

 

She holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a BA in Organizational Resource Management and Business Administration from Mercyhurst College. She obtained her Professional Coach Certification through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and maintains an ACC credential with the International Coach Federation (ICF).

 

In addition, Kim is certified to deliver the Center for Creative Leadership’s 360 Assessment Suite, CentACS’s Workplace Big Five Profile and Workplace Performance 360, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.   She administers the FIRO-B, FIRO-Business and Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode instruments as well.  She holds Zenger Miller and DDI trainer certifications, and Six Sigma Black Belt certification. 

 

This event has been approved for 3 hours of business credit.  The cost is $79 for RWHRMA members and $129 for guests.
