WRAL JobLink Career Expo - will feature employers, resources and workshops for anyone in transition or preparing for potential transition. 

UPDATED!!  New Location Fall 2009!!  SPECIAL OFFER:  In recognition of the challenging economic conditions, Capital Area Workforce Development Board (CAWDB) is pleased to be able to offer the basic booth at no charge.   This great offer represents a savings of $75.  All of the other great value options are still available to allow you to stretch your dollars to maximize your recruitment results. 

There is a parking deck next door offering no hassle parking for businesses and job seekers!

We anticipate record attendance by job seekers for this event and our goal is to have as many employers with diverse employment opportunities as a strategic community outreach event.    With the current unemployment rate approaching 10%, the skills and experience of the job seekers will include many occupations, specialities and advanced levels.  

We are also seeking volunteers, if you do not have open positions we can use YOUR help:

Volunteer to Advise & Educate Job Seekers

• Staff a one-on-one table to provide consultation session with job seekers (resume review, mock-interview, career options, next steps)
• Facilitate small group sessions on Job Search Tips
• Assist other employers in handling the large numbers of job seekers

Raleigh-Wake HRMA, Capital Area WDB and WRAL-TV are pleased to invite you to participate in our JobLink Fall Career Fair scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Raleigh Convention Center.  This will be an excellent opportunity for you to meet with potential employees to discuss job openings, as well as promote your business and services.

The Spring Career Fair was attended by over 1500 job seekers!  The new location and expanded format should be beneficial for both job seekers and businesses to accomodate the increased numbers.

Included with your registration is complimentary break service, and a listing in the Employer Directory. Listings include space for a brief company description, job titles for open positions, web address, and contact information. Your corporate logo and print advertisements may also be added. Prices are as follows:

The directory will be distributed to over 1500 job fair attendees and provide a unique opportunity to highlight your company as an employer of choice! Review past directories and employer testimonials at www.joblinkcc.com. If you do not register by the deadline, you can not be included in the directory. (Deadline was 9/7 and ads no longer available)

Submit ad copy and logos to joblink.directory@gmail.com when you register. If not received by the registration deadline, we reserve the right to create a basic ad from whatever information is readily available.

The deadline for all registrations plus receipt of ad copy and logos is September 7th. If booths are still available, they will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis.

To be included in the directory, your registration and payment must be received by September 7th.  Registrations will be accepted through September 22nd, as long as booths are available.
