2006 Changing Faces: Issues in Workforce Diversity and Human Resources

RWHRMA is a proud sponsor of “Changing Faces: Issues in Workforce Diversity and Human Resources”.  The chapter is partnering with Wake County Human Services, JobLink-Swinburne and The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce to bring you this 2-day diversity conference May 3-4, 2006.  The focus of the conference will be workforce diversity and development, bringing together business, human resource and workforce development professionals.    

The conference will include two morning and two lunch keynote general sessions.  The morning and afternoons will have three tracks of concurrent educational sessions.  Registration each day will begin at 8:30.  Sessions are scheduled 9:00-4:15 with the HR Resource Room being staffed until 5pm each day.  Please see the conference matrix link for detailed schedule.

 

Keynote Speakers:

   

Kevin A. Henry, Senior Vice President Human Resources joined Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated in February 2001. Prior to joining Coke Consolidated, Kevin held human resources positions with Fortune 100 companies including Amoco Oil Company, The Pepsi-Cola Company, Clorox and Office Depot, Inc. In his current role, Kevin is responsible for all aspects of Coca-Cola Consolidated’s human resources functions.

   

Dr. Dudley Flood has served in many leadership roles. He was the Associate Superintendent of Public Instruction for the State of North Carolina, an association executive and a principal, coach and teacher. His approach to training and consulting is that of a teacher and coach. He has worked successfully with local, regional, and national organizations to improve their results and to strengthen the organizations' leadership.

 

    

Bob Crouch is a Cross Cultural Relations Specialist with the Office for Institutional Equity at Duke University. He has over twenty-five years in Human Resources and Training and has been involved with diversity training and consulting for more than twelve years. Bob has received several awards for his contributions in the area of training and development, and has written and published in the area of generational diversity.

                        

   

Susan Hite is the founder of Susan's Train Your Brain Series and serves as President of Hite Resources, Inc. She has recently spoken in more than 80 U.S. cities, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas about her personal and professional development series, designed to help people become more peaceful, balanced, and productive. Susan and her staff work with a variety of clients from large software, pharmaceutical and healthcare companies to public school systems, retail companies and sales teams in an effort to link behavior to bottom-line results. Susan also hosts two weekly radio shows on Clear Channel's Sunny 93.9FM in the Raleigh-Durham, NC market.
